A Dallas area transplant by way of the mid west, my family and I have called Murphy our home since 2005. I am a sports mom of two, a wife, a wannabe runner and chef. I adore our half cocker spaniel-half terrier rescue dog, Lucky. I have an eye for great living spaces which serves me well in my profession as a Realtor.
I am connector by nature…I enjoy introducing people and belong to social networking groups and civic organizations. But I live with a big secret…at home, I am a cave dweller…I go inside and don’t come out until it’s time to get in my car and leave. As a result, I don’t know my neighbors like I should.
I started this blog so that I can break this cycle in my life. I want to connect with my neighbors and help you connect with one another. I want you to know me and my family. I want to know yours. My prayer is that this blog evolves into communication tool for the Maxwell Creek Community and becomes the “goto” place for information on the neighborhood and Murphy in general.

Hi Dawn, I too am named Dawn. :). I admire your honesty and can relate on several levels. I am the mother of a 7 year old daughter and twin. 4 year old boys. I too am a cave dweller! Raised in Dallas but just moved to Maxwell Creek in April. I too wish to know my neighbors!
